That’s the beauty of QALIPSIS Cloud – your only system requirements are the ones you need to develop a scenario. You deploy your scenarios to QALIPSIS Cloud directly from your development environment or CI pipeline. Since your scenarios will completely run within our infrastructure, no additional resources from your side are necessary.
QALIPSIS’s minions represent any entity that can perform any action on your systems. This includes load generated by users, IoT devices as well as other IT platforms. Other load-testing products on the market use VU (Virtual Users) to simulate load, meaning they mainly target the load effect of users and not the vast array of other external factors that can impact your system’s performance.
QALIPSIS minion hours are equivalent to the industry-standard virtual user hours (VUH), used to compare prices of load-testing products across providers.
In QALIPSIS, one minion hour is equal to using:
- one minion for one hour
- two minions for 30 minutes
- three minions for 20 minutes, and so on.
Minions are the simulated users and devices we load onto your system to test your load, performance and E2E capabilities. They simulate exactly what would happen in a real-world situation on your tested system so you can be sure your system works as smoothly as it should.
When performing smoke and E2E tests, you can use a very low count of minions. When performing load, spike or stress tests, the count of minions loaded to your system should be relevant to the activity you want to simulate: peak of activity, balanced load etc.
QALIPSIS uses a limited list of public IP addresses that can be configured in your firewall as allowed origins. You can find the list of our public IP addresses in our official documentation.

User-aborted and timed-out tests will be included in your subscription limits, however, if a test is aborted by the system, this will not be included in your limit.
Billing questions
Sign-up for free and benefit from our 14-day free trial period to evaluate QALIPSIS. After the trial period, you can upgrade to the plan and subscription type that best suits your needs.
Yes. You can cancel your QALIPSIS Cloud subscription at any time. You will still be able to use all the benefits of your chosen QALIPSIS Cloud plan until the end of your paid subscription period, after which time you will no longer be charged. Once your subscription ends, your data is kept for one further month after which time your data will be completely and permanently deleted.
Yes. Your QALIPSIS subscription will auto-renew on the day your current subscription expires. You will be sent a notification several days before this date as a reminder and be charged by our partner Paddle.
QALIPSIS Cloud employs the online financial services of the merchant of records Paddle to invoice all our subscription services.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade to suit your needs at any time. For upgrades, we will calculate your new rate on a pro-rata basis from the day you wish to upgrade until the end of your current term, at which time you will be charged at the new upgraded rate. Please contact us if you wish to do so.
Should you wish to downgrade, simply choose the smaller plan and it will begin after the completion of your current term.
Yes. We offer discounts for non-profit organizations. Please contact us to discuss our discounted plans.
We use Paddle to process all our payments. Payment options include PayPal, debit and credit cards. All QALIPSIS Cloud invoices will be processed through Paddle.
